Health and Safety Policy Statement

Premiserv Limited is engaged in providing a contract cleaning and support services throughout the North West of England. The Company is renowned for the delivery of high standards of excellence and it is the policy of the Company to apply equal standards to its health and safety arrangements for the benefit of its employees and customers.

The Health and Safety Policy of Premiserv Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Company) has been formulated in accordance with the requirements of Section 2 (3) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 which states that:

“It shall be the duty of every employer to prepare and as often as may be appropriate revise a written statement of his general policy with respect to the health and safety at work of his employees and the organisation and arrangements for the time being in force for carrying out that policy, and to bring the statement and any revision of it to the notice of all his employees”.

The policy of the Company is to fulfil the duties, responsibilities and obligations placed upon it by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and all other relevant statutory provisions relating to health and safety. Based on risk assessment and recognised industry good practice in all its aspects, the Company will ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the protective and preventative measures are in place to secure the highest standards of health and safety.

As a matter of policy, the Company will encourage all its own employees to play an active part in health and safety matters and to co-operate in promoting and following safe working practices and procedures as laid down by the Company and in accordance with their competence, expertise and training.

The health and safety document has been formulated by setting out in broad terms the general health and safety policies, objectives and arrangements of the Company so that all might readily understand them concerned. Notwithstanding the Company safety policy will be reviewed formally on an annual basis and revised whenever appropriate to ensure further risk minimisation wherever possible.

This health and safety policy document will be distributed to all employees and clients. Any revisions of the Health and Safety Policy will be brought to the attention of relevant persons. The policy document and its health and safety files will be held at the Company Head Office and at all contracts.

THE MANAGING DIRECTOR COMMENDS THIS HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY TO ALL EMPLOYEES AND TO OTHERS WHO MIGHT BE AFFECTED BY OUR ACTIVITIES, IN THE INTERESTS OF FURTHERING HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY.
